Editing a Match Afterwards

Once a match has been played, you can review and correct its details in Coach Base.

Opening the match timeline​

Open the match and go to Stream in the left sidebar. This shows a timeline of the match - kickoff, half time, goals, and end match - with the score and minute for each event.

Editing or removing events​

Tap the pencil icon (top right) to enter edit mode. Each event in the timeline gets a red delete icon - tap it to remove an event that doesn't belong.

Confirm your changes with the green checkmark, or discard them with the red X, at the bottom of the screen.

Adding or editing a goal​

Tap the score in the timeline to open Edit goal, where you can set:

  • The minute the goal was scored
  • The type: Goal, Shot, Header, Freekick, Penalty, or Own goal
  • Where the shot was taken from and where it went in, by tapping the field and goal diagrams
  • The goal scorer - pick from your team's player list, or use the shirt number grid for a goal scored by the opponent
  • An Assist, if applicable, for your team's goals

Confirm with the checkmark, or tap the X to cancel.

Unlike the mobile apps, where goal details are split across separate tabs, Coach Base shows the minute, type, field and goal diagrams, scorer and assist all together on one screen.

Adding or editing an event​

Tap a player, or any other event in the timeline, to open Edit event, where you can set:

  • The minute the event happened
  • The player involved, from your team's player list (with shirt numbers)
  • Where it happened, by tapping the field and goal diagrams
  • The type of event:
    • Chance, Shot, Header, Freekick, Penalty, Own goal
    • Yellow card, Red card, Second yellow card
    • Great save, Great pass, Great rush, Great defense
    • Offense, Injured, Warning referee, Offside, Corner
    • Substitute in, Substitute out, Penalties
