Quick Start: Coach Base

Coach Base is currently in development. Screens and features described here are based on the beta version and may still change before release.

Coach Base is the web app for Coach Amigo, available at base.coachamigo.com. It uses the same Amigo account and the same data as the Coach Amigo app, just on a bigger screen.

Anything you change in Coach Base - players, matches, team settings - is immediately visible in the Coach Amigo app, and vice versa. See How It All Fits Together.

Signing in​

Go to base.coachamigo.com and log in with the same Amigo account you use for Coach Amigo. All your teams are available here too.

The left-hand sidebar is your main navigation:

  • Dashboard: an overview of your active team
  • Players: your full player collection
  • Matches: the matches for your active team
  • Team: team setup, statistics, sharing and the Team Page
  • Settings: account, preferences and help & info

In the top right corner you'll find direct access to our docs site, a light/dark mode toggle, and your account menu.

Dashboard​

The dashboard gives you an overview of your active team:

  • The team banner showing your team name, division and Premium status
  • A bar to switch between your teams and the active period
  • The next match, with a countdown
  • Your win/draw/loss record as a donut chart
  • A shortcut to create a new match
  • Match form, top scorers, top assists, and goals for/against
  • Lists of past and upcoming matches

Players​

Tap Players to see your full player collection - the same players you manage in Coach Amigo. Use the search field to find a player by name, and switch between Players and Archived using the buttons in the top right. Each player shows their preferred positions as colored letters.

Matches​

Tap Matches to see all matches for your active team and period, split into Next match and Played matches. From here you can open a match, or use the icons on the right to delete it or open it in the calendar.

Coach Base doesn't offer live match tracking - that's only available in the Coach Amigo app. Setting up a match and editing it afterwards work slightly differently here.

Team​

Tap Team to open your active team. A sidebar on the left gives you access to:

Settings​

Tap Settings to manage your account and app preferences.

Account (shared across Coach Base, Coach Amigo and Trainer Amigo, opens accounts.coachamigo.com):

  • Manage account: your name and email address
  • Purchases & subscriptions: manage your Premium subscriptions
  • Media Library: your stored photos and videos

Preferences:

  • Language: the language used in the interface
  • Your teams: switch between your teams
  • Cloud synchronization: keep your data synced across devices
  • Send system analytics: help improve Coach Amigo by sharing usage data
  • Force synchronization: tap Start to sync your data immediately

Help & info:

  • Support: get help
  • Notifications: manage your notification settings
  • Privacy statement: read the privacy policy

At the bottom of the page you'll see when your data was last synced with the server, and a Logout button.

What's different from Coach Amigo​

Coach Base gives you the same data and most of the same features as Coach Amigo, on a bigger screen. The main differences are:

  • No live match tracking: matches are set up and reviewed here, but played and tracked live in the Coach Amigo app
  • Team Page: only available in Coach Base
  • Setting up and editing matches works a bit differently - see the Matches section
