Quick Start: Your First Match

When you create a new team in Coach Amigo, the app guides you through four steps to get set up. This guide walks you through each one.

You'll see these same steps whenever you create a new team, even if you already have others.

1. Create your team​

Choose your federation, select or type your club name, give your team a name, and tap the green checkmark to confirm.

2. Create your players​

Create at least four players to get started. Enter each player's name and add the preferred position. Any player you create here is automatically added to the team selection.

3. Complete your team selection​

This step takes you to the team selection screen. If you've already created players for another team, you can add them to this team's selection here. You can also assign a goalkeeper, a captain, and shirt numbers to complete your squad.

4. Play your first match!​

Create a match, share the lineup and livestream and play it. Once you're in the match screen, tap the whistle to start the clock. You can track goals, chances, events and substitutions as the match unfolds.

When it's over, tap End Match. Your statistics are saved automatically.
