Creating and Managing Training Selections

Signing in

Open Trainer Amigo and log in with the same Amigo account you use for Coach Amigo. Your players are shared between both apps, so anyone you've already set up in Coach Amigo is available here too.

Creating a training selection

You can create a training selection in two places:

• On the Dashboard, tap the grey + in the training selections bar at the top
• Via Selection > Other selections, tap the red +

Give your training selection a name and tap the green checkmark to confirm.

The Setup screen

Tap Selection in the bottom navigation to open the Setup screen for your training selection. From here you can see:

• Current training selection: the number of players currently added to this training selection
• Periods: see Periods: Creating and Using Them
• Player collections: see Player Collections: Creating and Using Them

At the bottom of the screen:

• Close: return to the dashboard
• Setup: the screen you're currently on
• Statistics: see Statistics
• Sharing: see Sharing a Training Selection
• Other selections: switch to a different training selection, the same way you'd switch between teams in Coach Amigo

Adding players

1. Tap Selection in the bottom navigation
2. On the Setup screen, tap Current training selection
3. On the Training selection players screen, tap the pencil icon
4. In the Players list, tap the + next to a player to add them. The icon changes to a red cone
5. Tap the green checkmark to confirm

Since your players are already set up in Coach Amigo, you can add them directly here without creating them again. The Training selection players screen now shows everyone you've added, each marked with a cone, and a badge with the total number of players.
