What is Trainer Amigo?

Trainer Amigo is a mobile app for football trainers who work with training sessions. While Coach Amigo focuses on matches, Trainer Amigo focuses on training: tracking attendance, managing training selections and rating players after sessions.

What you can do​

With Trainer Amigo you can:

  • Create training selections - groups of players for training, independent of team structure
  • Plan training sessions with date, time and location
  • Track attendance per session with a simple tap
  • Rate players after each session on four attributes
  • View training statistics across sessions and players

Trainers and coaches​

An important distinction: trainers work with training selections, coaches work with teams. A training selection is a flexible group of players that can include players from multiple teams. This is different from the team structure in Coach Amigo.

A single person can be both a coach and a trainer. You use Coach Amigo for matches and Trainer Amigo for training sessions.

Trainer Amigo is a free download on iOS and Android. Log in with your existing Amigo account.

Access and pricing​

Owners of a Coach Amigo Premium team get full access to Trainer Amigo at no extra cost. Trainers who only want to use Trainer Amigo (without a Premium team) can purchase standalone access for €9.99 per year.

How it connects​

Trainer Amigo shares the same player database as Coach Amigo. Players you add in one app are available in the other. Training selections created in The Clubhouse appear automatically in Trainer Amigo.
