Managing Players

The Clubhouse keeps a database of all players in your club, shared across all teams and training selections.

Players overview

Go to Players in the menu to see your Players overview. At the top, you can switch between three tabs:

  • Players: your club's active player database
  • Archive: players who have been archived
  • Collections: manage player collections

The player list shows, for each player:

  • Their name
  • Which collections they belong to
  • Their positions
  • Their preferred foot
  • The number of teams and training selections they're added to

Tap a player to open their profile, which has three tabs: Details (player info), Assigned to (which teams and training selections they're in), and Notes (observations from coaches and trainers).

Use the search bar or filter by collection to quickly find a player.

Collections

Collections are groups you create to bring players together across teams - for example "Players 2009-2011", "Girls", or any other grouping that makes sense for your club. A player can belong to multiple collections.

Once you've set up collections, you can filter your player list by collection. On the dashboard you can also filter stats by collection. As The Clubhouse's analytics grow, collections will become the foundation for cross-team analysis across your entire club.

Creating a collection

Go to the Collections tab and tap Add collection. Enter a name and confirm with the green checkmark. The collection is created and opens immediately in edit mode.

Adding players to a collection

In the Edit collection screen, tap the red + button under Players in this collection. A search dialog opens showing all players in your club - tap the + next to each player you want to add. Close the dialog when done, then confirm with the green checkmark.

To remove a player from the collection, tap the red x on their tag in the edit screen.

Editing or deleting a collection

From the Collections tab, tap the pencil icon next to a collection to open it in edit mode. Here you can rename it, add or remove players, or tap Delete collection to remove it entirely.

Adding a player

Tap Add player (top right) to open the new player form. Fill in:

  • Profile image: tap the pencil icon to upload a photo
  • Preferred positions: tap to select Keeper, Defence, Midfield, and/or Forward
  • Preferred foot: Left footed and/or Right footed
  • Nickname
  • First name
  • Last name
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number
  • Relation code: an optional reference code for your own administration

Tap Add to save the player to your club's database.

note

The player profile will be expanded with more characteristics over time - including all the details you can already set per player in Coach Amigo and Trainer Amigo.

note

Assigning a player to a team or training selection is done from within the team or training selection itself, not from the player profile.

Archiving a player

If a player leaves the club, you can archive them in two ways: tap the archive icon directly in the player list, or open their profile and tap Archive player at the bottom of the Details tab. Either way, the player moves to the Archive tab and is removed from active team and training selection lists, while all their data is kept.

To restore an archived player, go to the Archive tab and tap the archive icon next to their name to move them back to the active player list.

Deleting a player

To permanently remove a player, open their profile and tap Delete player (bottom right of the Details tab). This cannot be undone.

Notes from coaches and trainers

Every note a coach or trainer adds to a player in Coach Amigo or Trainer Amigo - whether attached to a match, a training session, or added directly to the player's profile - is visible on that player's profile in The Clubhouse. This gives club staff a complete picture of what's been observed about a player across all teams and sessions.
