Starting a New Season
When a new season begins, you have two options in Coach Amigo: create a new period within the same team, or create a new team entirely. Either way, your player data is always preserved - the choice is about whether your team itself stays the same or changes.
Option 1: New period (recommended)
Use this when your team continues as it is into the new season - for example, U13-2 stays U13-2.
Create a new period and activate it. Your team, players and settings stay the same. Previous season data remains accessible by switching periods.

Option 2: New team
Use this when the team itself changes - for example, when the players move up an age group and U13-2 becomes U15-2.
Create a new team from scratch.
If your previous team had Premium, you can transfer the license to the new team. See Transferring Premium for details.
Updating the squad
You can always adjust your current team selection. This is often needed at the start of a new season, when a player leaves and another joins.
Use a player collection to capture your team selection as it was for a previous season or period, and link it to that period. This way the right squad is preserved even after you update your current team selection.
